The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is an Australian Government statutory agency formed in 2008. We are responsible for planning the integrated management of the water resources of the Murray–Darling Basin.
Our work is an integral part of the Australian Government program Water for the Future, which has four priorities:
