We offer exciting work opportunities at the forefront of water resource management. Our principal aim is to manage the Basin's water resources in the national interest. Our agency is responsible for planning integrated management of the water resources of the Basin.

Basin Community Committee

The Basin Community Committee provides a community perspective on a wide range of water resource, environmental, cultural and socioeconomic matters.

Basin Community Committee (BCC) members are selected based on their expertise or interest in water use, water management, Indigenous and local government matters. Express your interest for a position as a member or as Chair commencing September 2021.

Accredited Breastfeeding friendly workplace

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority is committed to providing a supportive workplace environment for breastfeeding mothers returning to the workplace.

The MDBA is an accredited Breastfeeding friendly workplace. It is important that we support woman in their desire to maintain breastfeeding for as long as possible by combining work and breastfeeding to promote the ongoing benefits to the baby and mother.
