AGL in conjunction with River Murray Operations announced today that releases from Dartmouth Reservoir will be increased for the purposes of Electricity Generation.

The current discharge at Coleman’s Gauge of 500 ML/d or 1.176 M gauge height will be gradually increased to 2500Ml/d or 1.82 M gauge height, commencing 10:00 hrs on 20/05/2022.

This increase is expected to result in the flow at Tallandoon rising to approximately 2931Ml/d or 2.19M gauge height.

The duration of the increased releases for electricity generation is until approx. 17:00 Sunday 22/5/2022 but will be dependent upon electricity demand in the near future. A further flow advice will be issued when there is a significant change to the release program. On reduction at this point the river will probably return to 500ML/d or 1.176M gauge height at Colemans.
