Timing and manner of making allocation announcements:

As the Ovens is partly regulated and partly unregulated, allocation is set to 100% at the start of each season in the expectation that unregulated flows will be sufficient to supplement what is in storage. If, during the season, there is inadequate water, restrictions and rosters may be imposed by Goulburn–Murray Water from time to time.

How allocation levels are determined:

As the Ovens is partly regulated and partly unregulated, allocation is set to 100% at the start of each season in the expectation that unregulated flows will be sufficient to supplement what is in storage. If, during the season, there is inadequate water, restrictions and rosters may be imposed by Goulburn–Murray Water from time to time.
