Timing and manner of making allocation announcements: 

Chapter 5 Part 2 of the Resource Operations Plan contains the continuous sharing rules for this water supply scheme. Water in each individual account is continually carried forward and is not reset at the start of the water year.

'Water year' is defined as 'The period from 1 July to 30 June' in the Condamine and Balonne Resource Operations Plan Attachment 1 (Dictionary).

Under the Bulk Sharing rules as outlined under section 240 of the Resource Operations Plan, the resource operations licence holder must determine and set the announced allocation effective from the first day of each water year.

Under Chapter 11, Part 2 Division 2 of the Resource Operations Plan, the resource operations licence holder must share water between holders of individual continuous share water accounts in accordance with the stated process.

How allocation levels are determined: 

Allocation levels for Medium Priority are determined in accordance with the Bulk water sharing rules as outlined under section 243 of Chapter 5 Part 2 of the Resource Operations Plan.
