Landholders and river users, including pumpers, on the Mitta Mitta River are advised of an update to the previously planned forecast for an increased flow pulse from Dartmouth Dam to benefit water quality and ecosystem function in the Mitta Mitta River commencing Monday 21 March, 2022.

Due to an unforeseen operational communication problem occurring Sunday 20 March, the planned flow pulse has been deferred until further notice.

The release from Dartmouth Dam, measured at Colemans Gauge, will continue to target the current rate of 500 ML/day (gauge height 1.17 m).

Landholders and river users on the Mitta Mitta are advised to regularly check the current flows and forecasts on the MDBA website for more information on releases from Dartmouth Dam. Summary information about the River Murray system is available in the River Murray weekly report.
