This study builds on eleven years of monitoring assessing fish diversity and distribution in the Chowilla Anabranch and Floodplain system. The report presents the study survey methods and compares the 2016 data to data from previous years of monitoring.

Floodplain vegetation monitoring interim report

This report presents the results of amphibious and flood dependant vegetation monitoring and the abundance of exotic species in Chowilla temporary wetlands and floodplain in 2015-16. This report compares these against monitoring undertaken since 2006 and reports on attaining icon site-specific floodplain and temporary wetland vegetation condition targets.

Chowilla icon site – floodplain vegetation monitoring

This interim report builds on 10 years of monitoring data to assess floodplain vegetation condition on the Chowilla Floodplain. The report describes the methods used to establish the monitoring sites; results from the 2016 survey; quantitative and qualitative comparisons of the changes in floristic composition between 2006 and 2016, and includes an assessment against The Living Murray (TLM) ecological targets for this site.

Chowilla floodplain vegetation monitoring 2015

This interim report builds on nine years of monitoring data to assess vegetation condition on Chowilla Floodplain. The report outlines the method of selecting survey sites and it presents the plant community composition. The observations are compared to results from previous years and are assessed against The Living Murray ecological targets.
