Climate change and the Murray–Darling Basin Plan discussion paper

The Murray–Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) has released a discussion paper which explains the impact of climate change across the Basin and explores how the current Basin Plan settings actively manage climate change. The paper also sets out some focus research questions the MDBA will be investigating through its climate change program in the years ahead.

The MDBA is currently working in partnership with the independent Advisory Committee on Social, Economic and Environmental Sciences (ACSEES) to design a research program to advance our understanding of climate change, and continue MDBA’s collaboration with leading research bodies, scientists, government and independent experts.
