Flow changes in the northern system and water entering to the Menindee lakes system are highly influenced by a number of different factors including:

  • climate change and variability
  • river regulation
  • water use
  • land use changes
  • irrigation development
  • illegal water diversion.

This report is an analysis to assess changes in flow due to the impact of climate change/variability. It also considers other factors including river regulation.
