Lake Victoria Annual Report July 2007-June 2008

Regulation of Lake Victoria has contributed to the exposure of Aboriginal cultural material on the lakeshore and surrounding cliffs, in particular Aboriginal burial grounds.

In 1994 an application was made under Section 90 of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Act (1974) to allow continued disturbance of non-burial Aboriginal objects by regulation of the Lake.
The following annual report focuses on activities that have been carried out against each of the Section 90 Consent Conditions.
