A yarn on the river: Getting Aboriginal voices into the Basin Plan

A yarn on the River has been created to increase understanding of the draft Basin Plan and to assist Indigenous Australians to have their say about what’s in the Basin Plan. This booklet highlights the parts of the draft Basin Plan most relevant to Aboriginal people.

Over the next few months we would like you to tell us your views on the draft Basin Plan and how it can be improved to better address your concerns. Once this public consultation period has finished — in April 2012 — your views will be considered for inclusion in the final Basin Plan.
